Pumpkin Patch #1

Went to two pumpkin patches this year - one in Charleston with our auxiliary playgroup and one in Augusta while visiting grandparents.  Here is the one at Legare Farms in Charleston.  It was a hot day, but so much fun.

Citadel Parade

Last Friday afternoon the kids and I were on our way to our next Charleston adventure - the weekly Citadel Parade.  I've always heard how neat it was, so we thought we would give it a try after our daily napping.  The weather was so beautiful, and on our way out of the neighborhood, we spotted Jacob driving in from work early...so he was able to join us!  The kids loved all the marching and people watching, but not so much the cannons firing off.  It is definitely a must-see if you are in the Charleston area and especially if you are a fan of Pat Conroy's Lords of Discipline.

Here are some pics from August when I took a trip to visit my mom in Southwest Georgia.  Since we aren't around peanuts and tractors every day, I thought it would be the perfect time to let them see what a little bit of the country is like.  We had a fun time playing with Nana and catching up with some of my dear friends from high school and their little ones.
