Back on track with the Tourist Pass - Day 3 we visited the
Hunley Submarine - the story is amazing to say the least. In 1864, it was the first submarine ever to sink an enemy ship, but it mysteriously never returned. After years of searching, it was finally discovered in 1995 by author Clive Cussler. Enough with the history lesson, here are a few pics - we didn't get many as there is not much to view - the submarine is underwater during its conservation efforts. But most definitely worth a visit.
