Short and sweet because I need to be cleaning or napping, but I wanted to post a picture of Frances - she is 6 months old! She is sitting up and starting to show her little personality - laughing at Charles, trying out her high pitched babbles and screams, and showing off her smiles. This a picture of her in her Sunday best....isn't she cute?! I have some baby food and beach pictures to upload in the next few days.

I was just looking at various blog sites and yours caught my eye. When I saw that it was from Charleston, South Carolina, I had to check it out.
Three years ago my wife and I had the good fortune of going on a great golf vacation in your lovely State. We stayed at Florence and golfed many very nice courses out of Swamp Fox Golf.
On one day, there was a serious threat of rain, so we decided to forego golfing and visit Charleston. It was a wise choice. We took a guided tour of the city and, as anticipated, were not disappointed. Our guide was knowledgeable, funny and very charming.
After out tour, we had a very nice meal at a place called "Cru Café" on Pinckney Street. We bought two mugs from the proprietor and cherish them as mementos of a very nice vacation.
It was our first trip to the South and we were not disappointed. The people lived up to our expectations, the food was great, and we'll always have a fond spot in our hearts for Charleston and South Caroline. We hope to return soon.
It is, by the way, refreshing to see people who stand-up for their Christian convictions. May God bless all of you.
